What Are My 3 Favorite Affiliate Programs And Why?

Author: Gene Minorr  //  Category: Affiliate Marketing

There are thousands of affiliate marketers in every country in the world. The reason for this is because of the number of affiliate programs available to join.

Not all affiliate programs are very good however. Here are my three top affiliate programs and the reasons I like them.

1. Submit Your Article. I like to join programs that are a little different than the others and ones that attack a need or solve a problem.

This is why I like SYA. They are an article submission company with a different twist.

They provide a system using a unique technology known as Article Leverage. This allows you to create hundreds of unique versions of your articles before they are submitted to various article directories.

Not only should you be using the service, you can also make money referring their affiliate program. This is a good residual income program because you get paid every month the people you refer keep their membership intact.

2. Cash Crate. This is a very good affiliate program for paid surveys that is very easy to earn money referring people. I always like to sell tools and resources as opposed to actually doing the work.

This means I make my money with Cash Crate referring new members as opposed to actually taking surveys. However this is also a two-tier affiliate program so you can earn money when people take surveys and on the new members they recruit as well.

It’s free to join, they have great promotion materials, they have a free list of companies to take surveys from, run contests, and have a discussion forum for members to hang out in. They also pay consistently on the first of the month and offer direct deposit.

3. The Affiliate Power Group. Not everyone knows how to do affiliate marketing correctly.

You will learn how to do affiliate marketing and build your own online business at the same time. The private forum they have offers direct contact with mentors who do affiliate marketing full time. This is different than many membership programs where the owners are not active.

They also have a residual income payment plan where you get paid every month that members you sign up are active. This is a good way to build an ongoing income and provide a much needed service to affiliate marketers.

I understand there are numerous affiliate programs in various niches. Whether you join the ones I am in or not there are a couple things keep in mind.

Try and find affiliate programs that are unique and provide a different twist than all their competitors. Go for programs that pay you over and over whenever possible. Residual income allows you to continue to get paid if you ever decide to stop working.

How to Establish Your eBay Business Strategy for the Best Success

Author: Gene Minorr  //  Category: eBay

The most successful sellers on eBay are not those that list the odd auction or two each evening after work. They have dedicated their time and their money into the process of developing an eBay business strategy that gives them a great starting point in a highly competitive market. Unfortunately you can’t expect to jump straight onto eBay and see soaring success; you too need to put in the effort to create your very own strategy.

Without an eBay business strategy you will struggle to succeed in anything more than making a few sales a week. But with it, the sky is literally the limit and you could start to see an increase in profits quickly. If you feel lost and don’t know where to start keep reading for some handy hints to incorporate within your very own plan.

What should I sell?

Deciding what your eBay store will stock is of vital importance and should be decided early. Don’t attempt to be a shop that stocks a little bit of everything, instead find a very specific niche. It might sound like you’re limiting yourself to one particular income stream, but once you have established yourself as an expert within your own small corner of the market you may be surprised to find that your customers return time and time again to your shelves.

What do I need?

It’s important to understand exactly what you will need and what it will cost you to establish your online business. The costs of starting out on eBay are minimal, but you will still need some equipment to function and to make your money, for example, a computer, an internet connection, a printer and a digital camera. You may already be in possession of this technology but if not you will need to allow for its purchase.

How will I operate?

Are you planning to receive your stock from a wholesaler? You’ll need to consider where you are planning to store your goods before selling them on at a marked-up profit. Considering a dropshipper? You will have to make contact with those in the same industry in which you wish to establish yourself, ensuring that they will deliver the goods on time. Will you buy your own merchandise from charity shops or the high street, or even cheap auctions on eBay?

The method that you choose is not important; success can be had with any of the above. What is important is that you decide upon your method and adequately research it, including any costs and risks associated. Remember that any eBay business strategy must include a method of buying at a low cost and selling at a higher one.

When do I start?

If you already work full time it is sensible to try out your eBay business strategy in your free time, initially at least. This will give you a taste of the lifestyle that you could expect if your business takes off, as well as some valuable insights into the success of your particular niche.

The time to start making money from eBay is not ten years in the future; it can be as soon as next week. But always remember that if you are determined to be successful you will need a successful strategy to get you started.

Do Your Run Your Internet Business Like A Real Business?

Author: Gene Minorr  //  Category: Online Business Information

If you have an Internet business consider yourself extremely lucky. I should say consider yourself lucky if you are running it like a real business. Sadly most people are not.

Here are a few tips to follow if you want to have a real business and not a hobby.

1. Real businesses do whatever it takes to keep their doors open. Let me give you an example.

I recently ran an offer to enroll some new distributors into my network marketing business. This was a special offer I chose to run exclusively for new people who were not already in my business.

I simply wanted to help my wife and I get to the next level in the compensation plan. We offered to help any new person get paid members in the following month so the actual cost of opening their own network marketing business would quickly be recouped.

We did this to entice new people to get off the fence and join us. Real businesses run special offers all of the time to increase sales.

I was surprised that I had existing distributors email me and complain that the same offer wasn’t available to them. Some of them had even joined our mlm business five months ago and never enrolled even one person into their own business.

If you went and bought a big screen TV three months ago for certain price, and the retail outlet now had it on sale for a lower price today, you would not be able to call them and complain about the price you paid.

A real business runs specials at different time of the year for their own reasons. The same thing should be true for your online business.

2. Real businesses budget a certain percentage of their gross for advertising and marketing. Most online business owners cut corners on Internet promotion and many hope to be successful by doing nothing more than 100% free advertising.

This may have worked in the past, but today there are too many competitors in each niche to expect to run a profitable online business without spending any money on advertising. If you are not spending money on marketing your online business you can expect it to fail.

3. Real businesses have set hours that their front doors are open and they work hard to run a profitable business. Most Internet business owners work whenever they feel like it and often times they do not even work when they think they are working.

It’s very easy to fall in the trap of being online and thinking you are working when in reality you are not. Surfing the Internet, downloading iTunes, looking for new opportunities, changing the color of your website, and so on, is not really working your business.

In the end only you can decide if you want to run your Internet business like a real business. The profits for an Internet business are many, but only for those who decide to treat their online business seriously.

Improve Your Online Income Business and Leverage Your Time by Outsourcing Your Work

Author: Gene Minorr  //  Category: Online Business Information

Speak to any internet based business owner and the one lament that you will hear without fail, is that there are just not enough hours in the day to do all that is required to build a successful online business. This subject is widely discussed on the majority of internet marketing forums.

The kind of discussion that seems to arise from this is the question of time management and advice on how to manage time is then a hot topic. Further advice will then follow on the idea of outsourcing some of the work and finding other people who are willing and able to undertake performing some of these tasks for you.

By using freelance specialists and outsourcing some of your tasks you are leveraging your time in a sensible manner. You can find these people who make their living out of doing various internet marketing tasks and will happily undertake to do them as this is how they earn their money.

When you use some of these services you are not only lightening your load, but are also freeing yourself up to work on the tasks that you enjoy doing and that you are good at. Letting someone else undertake those tasks which are difficult for you and therefore take up too much time can be done at very reasonable rates and your online business will certainly benefit from you using these services.

Just one word of warning, you do need to take some precautions before hiring anyone to do the work for you. Here are some things that you need to think about before getting involved in any contracts.

a) When advertising the job that you need to outsource be sure that you are very clear on what it is that you require. Give exact instructions and a definite time limit on the job, but also be reasonable and don’t set impossible targets.

b) When people start responding to your advertisement make sure to check out their profile. If they have not posted any information about themselves they are certainly not very professional and don’t take their freelance roles seriously. Have they posted any sorted of biography or given any information on work that they have done previously?

c) It is well worth your time to do some due diligence on them. Check back and see what they have done previously and if anyone has given them a good testimonial. If is a simple thing to check out by using the feedback services available through websites such as elance.com.com.

d) Narrow your list of possible prospects down to a short list of those people who you feel can really do the job that is required of them and ask them to provide you with a sample of their work. It might be an idea to set a task for them to complete for you and you can then narrow your list even further. Anyone who does not respond in a reasonable time should be eliminated immediately.

e) Another consideration when looking for outsourcing prospects is price. Don’t make price the main focus when choosing someone. The quality of the work that you require is what you should focus on. The cheapest candidate might possibly not be the best person for you to employ.

f) Remember when choosing a candidate that the person who you consider the best for you may live on the other side of the world. This in itself is not a problem, so long as you take into account the time differences involved and allow for them accordingly.

When you have found the best person for your needs be sure to look after them and treat them well, your online income business depends on it. This is the person who can turn your projects into a reality and could be the biggest cause of your business becoming a great success.

3 Essential Tips For Email Marketing

Author: Gene Minorr  //  Category: Building Your List

Whether you are new to online marketing or an experienced veteran, your subscriber list is a very important part of business. Protect your business by reading these helpful tips for email marketing.

Obviously you want to avoid any issues with your internet service provider and the authorities. There are many rules that govern email marketing to help protect the privacy of internet users from spamming and unwanted mails, so it is important to make sure you are in compliance. Ensure that your online business is legit. Your reputation as a marketer and a legitimate site depends on following the rules.

In addition to the legal guidelines, here are three things to keep an eye on when emailing your list.

1) Pay attention to unsuccessful sends. Known as “bounced” emails, they do not get delivered. For some reason, these bounced emails are undeliverable. Sometimes this is because the server was overloaded at that time. Sometimes the target inbox was full. On your next email attempt, those addresses might work. Misspelled, invalid, or deleted email addresses will never work.

Actively manage your list by marking bad emails. If they have bounced multiple times you can erase email accounts from your list. This will help you track campaign performance by having accurate statistics.

A common mistake people make when opting into your list is accidentally using an N instead of an M in the “.com” of their email address. These can be an easy fix if you catch them!

2) You have to provide an option to unsubscribe from your list. Your subscribers have consented to being on the list by subscribing themselves, and if you are using a reputable auto-responder service, it was a “double opt-in” process. The auto-responder should automatically include an “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of every outgoing email you send to your list. Take requests seriously when someone on your list files a request to be unsubscribed. If you keep sending them your emails, you could be breaking the law!

If you were to be reported as a spammer, you can cause your business a lot of harm. You could be dropped by your internet service provider, and potentially face legal issues.

Your emails and newsletter promotions should not contain shocking or disturbing content. Typically you won’t know the age of the subscribers, so stay away from anything that could be controversial. Remember why the person subscribed to your list in the first place and stick to the nature of your site and business.

We hope you remember these 3 helpful tips when emailing your subscriber list. Treat your subscriber list with care because it can help you build a very profitable online income!

Internet Marketing Information: How to Tell the Good From the Bad

Author: Gene Minorr  //  Category: Affiliate Marketing

If you have an online business, you already know you need good Internet marketing information in order to succeed. Unfortunately, if you are just getting started, it can be difficult to sort through all the online clutter to find information that is genuine, reliable and most importantly, profitable.

Finding solid Internet marketing information is important because it can greatly reduce your learning curve. It can help you become profitable a whole lot faster. For example, when launching your business, you need good advice on how to choose the right niche and the right product or service. You also need to know how to develop a great web site and how to rank well in the search engines. In reality, these points are just the tip of the proverbial iceberg in terms of what you will need to know in order to be successful long term. Finding good Internet marketing information early on can shave months, or even years, off this process.

Of course, the Internet is a constantly evolving medium. A product or strategy that was all the rage a few months ago may now be out of favor as new ideas appear on the scene. Amidst this backdrop, it is very difficult to distinguish between what is genuine and what is unreliable. Therefore, you need to evaluate any Internet marketing information you find very carefully before investing your hard-earned money or even more valuable time in pursuing it.

When evaluating the validity of any Internet marketing information you find, it is very important to first consider its source.

Some questions you might consider include:

- Is the source reputable? A quick online search is a great way to find any obvious red flags.

- Is the author successfully using his advice in his own business? (Hint: the Internet is full of so-called gurus who have never made a dime by practicing what they preach).

- Can she provide proof in the form of testimonials or endorsements to support her claims?

- Is there an active community surrounding this individual? Does he have a forum? If so, are the conversations going on there focused on the ‘right’ way to do things (vs. sneaky tricks to game the system?) One of the best ways to determine the real deal is to hang back and study what is going on around their little corner of the Internet.

Once you find a reputable source, you then need to be sure the recommended strategies and tips will work in your case. Before accepting and making use of any Internet marketing information you find, make sure it is applicable to your particular business model. In other words, if someone is making a fortune selling information products to an international audience and you are running a dry cleaning service in Topeka, Kansas – you might want to look for advice more relevant to your own situation.

This is where good old-fashioned common sense comes into play.First, find someone who is already successful doing what you want to do. Then, do your research and make sure he or she is legit. Finally, start with the basics and build from there. You will find the tried-and-true fundamentals don’t change nearly as rapidly as the latest fads do. Before you know it, you’ll be on your way to building a profitable and sustainable long-term business online.
